Stansbury Park is located in the Northern end of Tooele valley at the base of the Oquirrh mountains. It is a planned community with amenities not found anywhere else in Utah, with its own private lake for sailing and paddleboats, an 18 hole golf course, clubhouse and parks.
The Stansbury Service Agency was established by the Tooele County Commissioners. The Service Agency has responsibility for developing and maintaining the Clubhouse, Swimming Pool, Greenbelts, Parks, Stansbury Lake and the Golf Course which is currently leased.
The Parks at Stansbury include baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, an astronomical observatory and play areas for children.
One of the centerpieces of Stansbury Park is its 18-hole public golf course. This challenging golf course winds through the beautiful homes of Stansbury and features over a dozen lakes integrated into the layout. All the par 3's are over water and all but two holes have water hazards, so be prepared to splash a ball or two during a round. In the winter time, Stansbury is often the only course open in the greater Salt Lake City area. The course has a clubhouse with food service, a pro shop, putting green and driving range.
